I can’t wait for him to learn to talk – both just to hear what he comes up with and also for practical reasons like knowing if he’s thirsty without seeing how he reacts to a cup of water.

But also, I try to appreciate the good things about each phase we go through and right now it’s really king of nice having a person whose opinions I don’t have to listen to. Of course, there are still times he makes his opinions quite clear!

Happy Birthday to Baby B! Those are some very adorable pictures of him. And you’re entering some great territory — my absolute favorite part of having a baby was when he started learning to talk. It was so much fun to experience the world with him!
